Chinese for Beginners from Zero

Our Chinese for Beginners course is designed for people with zero prior experience. Over 8 weeks you will master phonetics (4 tones + neutral tone), the pinyin system, and learn to write and recognise your first 150 characters. Classes are taught by qualified teachers from China experienced in working with international students.

Format: mini-groups of up to 6 or individual lessons.

The programme follows a modular approach: phonetics → basic grammar → everyday vocabulary → dialogues. Each lesson includes checked homework, speaking practice and mini-quizzes. By the end of the course you will be able to introduce yourself, order food, ask for directions and hold simple conversations in Mandarin.

Our teachers from China understand the typical pronunciation mistakes international students make with tones. We use HSK Standard Course textbooks combined with our own materials. Every student receives an individual progress report every two weeks.
