Tsinghua + Peking, capital, CSC grants
The capital of China and the country's intellectual hub. Tsinghua and Peking — two universities in the global QS top-20 — are based here. If you are aiming for a master's or PhD in STEM or political science, Beijing is the obvious pick. The city is huge, but the metro covers almost everything, and the student campuses form entire "cities within the city".

Curator tip
Beijing has the highest CSC competition but also the most spots. Apply in parallel to Tsinghua / Peking + a backup 985 university — this doubles the chance of receiving a grant.
All have direct contracts with ChinaEduEasy, personal application guidance and CSC support.
