Full translation
Everyone possesses Buddha-nature. The emptiness of all phenomena is a fundamental Buddhist view. Awakening lies not in words but in practice. Suchness is the true nature of all phenomena. Nirvana transcends the cycle of life and death. Beneath the bodhi tree, the Buddha attained awakening. All things arise through the conjunction of causes and conditions. Compassion is the original aspiration of a bodhisattva. The Pure Land school urges people to remember the Buddha and seek rebirth there. Illuminating the mind and seeing one’s nature is the aim of Chan.
