Full translation

The meter of this poem is very regular. The second and fourth lines rhyme. These two lines form a precise parallel couplet. Level and oblique tones are the basis of meter. The composition of the text is clearly structured. This five-character poem feels fresh and natural. The seven-character regulated verse has a grand atmosphere. A quatrain has only four lines. Regulated verse pays close attention to tonal patterns and parallelism. Every ci poem states its tune pattern.
