China is one of the safest countries in the world. CCTV is everywhere, crime is low, and public transport is safe even at night. Students live in guarded dormitories on campus.
The first 2–3 months are the hardest. We assign a curator who helps with everyday life, documents and culture shock. There is a working-hours support chat and a community of Russian-speaking students.
The first year is an intensive language course. After 6 months, students can communicate about everyday topics. After one year, they pass HSK 4 and can study in Chinese. English also helps during the transition.
We do not promise a guaranteed scholarship — that would be dishonest.
Tuition: $2,000–$8,000/year depending on the university and program. Dormitory: $400–$1,200/year. Food and daily living: $200–$400/month. Total: a realistic budget starts at $5,000–$6,000/year.
Relying on free education as the main plan is risky.
The basic set: passport, school certificate or diploma with a notarized translation, medical examination, photographs and a motivation letter. Minors need notarized parental consent. The full list depends on the program.
WhatsApp, Telegram and video calls work in China through a VPN. We help set up the VPN on the first day. The time difference with Moscow is 5 hours, which is quite manageable.
A guardian is appointed in China for minors, usually a school employee. We coordinate with the guardian and the school and provide parents with monthly reports about the child’s progress and health.
We have protocols for emergencies: illness, conflicts and document issues. The curator is available during working hours. In extreme cases, we help with returning home. In 5 years of work there have been no serious incidents.

Gated campuses have 24/7 security, CCTV and access-control systems. Students feel safe at any time of day.
Modern on-campus dormitories have 2–4 beds per room, a shared kitchen, laundry and study areas. International dormitories are separate and well maintained.
