Language Year
A language year is a springboard into a bachelor's or master's programme. In 12 months at Beijing Language and Culture University, Tsinghua or a similar specialised school, you reach HSK 5 and can apply to any Chinese programme. Often combined with a follow-up bachelor's without reapplying.

Requirements
- High-school diploma (for ages 16+)
- Any level of Chinese, including absolute beginner
- Age 16+ (with written parental consent)
- Basic medical certificate
What you will study
Each block is a separate module with practice and curator support.
HSK 1–2
2–3 months. Core vocabulary, tones, characters. You can talk about daily life, food and directions.
HSK 3
3–4 months. Comfortable dialogues in shops, cafes and on the street. About 600 words.
HSK 4
3–4 months. Reading simple articles, basic academic vocabulary. Enough for a bachelor's programme.
HSK 5
3–4 months. Fluent conversation, lectures, reading. Enough for a master's programme.
